About

I’m an interdisciplinary scholar whose interest are Black expressive culture and art movements, Black social movements, Black political thought, critical theory, race and representation in media and popular culture, documentary filmmaking, and visual culture.

I am currently a graduate student at Georgia State University. My current research project explores visual representations of Black protest movements, performances of Black resistance, and Black spectatorship.

Graduate researcher and teaching assistant with experience in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, synchronous and asynchronous online instruction, multimedia production and design.
